On April 12, Hungarians will decide in the parliamentary elections whether the country will continue to be led by Viktor Orban, who has been in power since 2010, or whether power will go to the opposition.

The pro-government weekly Mandiner writes that “there are also doubts about the way Meta (manages Facebook) moderates political content in Hungary. A company employee for the region publicly revealed his political position in line with the narratives of the European mainstream.” The meta would deliberately reduce the reach of Orban and his party.
The spokesman for the Hungarian government, Zoltan Kovacs, also commented on the matter on the X platform and indicated the employee by name in his entry.

“Oskar Braszczyński has repeatedly shown sympathy for the Hungarian opposition movement, suggesting a direct interest in Hungarian opposition politics and expressing concerns about foreign influence on Hungary's domestic political landscape,” the post reads.
As the Hungarian politician added, “his public image indicates a strong pro-Ukrainian position, LGBT activism and support for regional causes such as the 'Free Belarus' movement, as well as opposition to the previous Law and Justice government in Poland.”
