According to the coach, one of these programs is a diet called “Welcome to the -10 kg per week.”
“A 800 kcal diet per day. The body is shocked – the metabolism slows down, the muscles“ take off ”, hunger grows exponentially. Then the breakdown – and everything returns back, and with the“ bonus ”in the form of extra pounds,” commented on a briskly such program.
He also criticized a diet with hard restrictions on products.
“There is no sweet, no bread, no porridge, milk, fruits – only“ allowed ”products. These are monodietes – for example, buckwheat, kefir, fruit. The body does not receive nutrients, immunity decreases, the mood is spoiled,” the coach noted.
He also attributed the so-called detox program to ridiculous diets.
“They promise to remove toxins, loss of fat, the normalization of metabolism. In fact, you just drink juices and smoothies. The weight decreases due to the loss of water and glycogen, not fat,” he commented on the essence of such nutrition. “You want a real result – forget about the extremes.”
According to Boyko, to lose weight, it is important to observe only three conditions:
- eating balanced;
- create a moderate calorie deficit;
- train.
“That's what works,” he summed up.
