Iran attacked, among others, American facilities in each of these countries, as well as in other Gulf countries. It is not known how quickly defense systems and support equipment will be delivered to each of these countries.
The decision to sell weapons was made after the conflict escalated in recent days. Iran attacked the energy infrastructure of neighboring countries in response to Israeli strikes on Iran's gas installations. The attacks caused a spike in gas prices and further increases in oil prices.
