A resident of Sharypovo did not unlink her bank card from her unused SIM card and became a victim of a swindler

Police from the Krasnoyarsk Territory detained an Astrakhan resident who is suspected of stealing money from the credit card of a resident of Sharypovo.
The press service said that at the end of January a 44-year-old woman came to the police with a complaint. She said that through a government service she learned that she had a debt of more than 100 thousand rubles in her credit history. At the bank she learned that she had allegedly used a card that had in fact been closed and disposed of long ago.
The police conducted an investigation and found out that a 21-year-old resident of Astrakhan may be involved in the crime. The young man was detained as a suspect. He said that in September 2025, he found an inactive phone number in one of the instant messengers, checked the link to the personal data number and issued a virtual account for it “SIM card».
“After that, he went into his personal account in the bank’s mobile application and reissued a virtual credit card without physical media with a credit limit of 100 thousand rubles. The man spent all the money on his own needs within a few days.», — the press service said.
A criminal case of theft was opened against the attacker (Part 3 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). He faces up to six years in prison. Now he is under recognizance not to leave the place and proper behavior.
