The great favorite Tadej Pogacar (26 years old, UAe Team Emirates) won for the fourth time the tour of France, on Sunday, July 27. The Belgian Wout Van Aert (Team Visma-Lease a Bike) was imposed in the last stage, 21, held from Mates-La-Ville to Paris.
The Slovenian cyclist had also triumphed at the France's tour in 2020, 2021 and 2024. Pogacar was followed in the final ranking by the Danish Vingegaard (Team Visma – Lease a Bike), the champion of 2022 and 2023, at 4 minutes and 24 seconds. The German Florian Lipowitz (Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe) was completed on the podium.

Tadej Pogacar won for the fourth time the tour of France, in 6 participations. When he did not triumph, the Slovenian took second place. He thus equalized the British Chris Froome and approached a single title by the record held by Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault, Jacques Anquetil and Miguel Indurain.
Wout Van Aert won the stage ended by Champs-Elysees, with a time of 3 hours, 7 minutes and 30 seconds, on the 132 kilometers.
The Italian Davide Ballerini (XDS Astana Team) was the second, and the podium was completed by the Slovenian Matej Mohoric (Bahrain Victorious). Pogacar finished the race on the 4th place, 19 seconds of leader.
