This year, the additional benefit will go to 6.4 million retireesclose 2 million pensioners from ZUS and almost 1 million people receiving benefits from KRUS.
Each eligible person will receive “thirteen” in the amount of the minimum pension. After this year's indexation it is PLN 1,978.49 grosswhich gives approx PLN 1,800.43 net for people with the lowest benefits. This is about PLN 100 more than a year earlier.
The final amount depends on the amount of your basic pension:
- up to PLN 2,500 gross – ok. PLN 1,794 net (no tax, only health insurance premium),
- over PLN 2,500 gross – ok. PLN 1,620–1,700 net (PIT advance payment also deducted).
The principle remains unchanged: each senior receives the same gross amount, but differences appear after deductions.

Thirteenth retirement. These are the payout dates
The pension will be paid together with the April pension, in accordance with the standard ZUS schedule. However, in some cases the deadlines will be accelerated due to weekends and holidays.
Payout schedule:
- April 1 (Wednesday),
- April 5 (Sunday → payment on April 3),
- April 6 (Monday → payment on April 3),
- April 10 (Friday),
- April 15 (Wednesday),
- April 20 (Monday),
- April 25 (Saturday → payment on April 24).
Thanks to these shifts, even approximately 3 million seniors will receive money before Easter.
