“Since the beginning of the war, we have constantly tried to get in touch with Iran in order to stop the supply of weapons to Russia. During all these years of a full-scale war, they not only did not stop, but went further. In addition to supplying Shahed, they taught the Russians to attack, trained them and themselves carried out attacks from their own territory against our people. Then they transferred other weapons,” Zelensky said.
According to him, the Iranian side said that supplies would be stopped, but in fact they went even further: they transferred licenses and helped build two large factories for the production of drones.
“Therefore, our attitude is clear: there can be nothing positive about such a regime that did all this against our country,” the president emphasized.
Zelensky pointed out the difference between Iran and Ukraine: the Iranians helped the Russians kill civilians, while the Ukrainians are showing Middle Eastern countries how to deal with these attacks.
