Traffic is restricted on Wednesday on the A3 Bucharest – Ploiești highway, after a truck overturned on both sides of the road, due to a tire explosion, the Infotraffic Center of the Romanian Police announces.
The incident took place at kilometer 35, in the area of Gruiu, Ilfov county.
“There was an explosion on a tire of a truck (without load), which was moving in the direction of Ploiesti. There were no casualties,” the Infotraffic Center reported.
Following the incident, the truck overturned on the road, affecting both directions of travel.
“Road traffic is restricted on lanes 1 and 2 of the direction to Ploiești and on lane 2 of the direction to Bucharest, the traffic values being on the rise”, stated the policemen.
