Elka's real name is Elizaveta Ivantsiv. She was born on July 2, 1982 in Uzhgorod. The performer began her musical career as a member of the Uzhgorod group B&B. In 2004, she signed a contract with Vlad Valov and released her debut album, City of Deception.
From 2010 to 2012, Elka was a judge on the Ukrainian show “X-Factor” on the STB channel.
Christmas tree in 2017 stated that she considers Moscow her home. She did not comment on the Russian aggression against Ukraine.
