Gardeners are already treating the garden for pests in order to be in time before the buds open. Two drugs named

“The best time for the first spring treatment of fruit trees is favorable weather conditions, namely, when at night we already have a stable plus, for example, zero or +1 °C, and during the day it is already 10 °C or more. This way we will get an average daily temperature of +5 °C. This is the standard. We also necessarily process in calm weather, because most of the processing will be blown away by the wind – this is an extra expense. Also, there is no need to process the trees before rains,” the gardener explained.

For the first treatment against pests, he advised using oil-based preparations or universal insectoacaricides and fungicides. Such drugs include “Zimovit” and “Brunka”. They are used before buds open.

“You can also use preparations such as 30D or 30B. They are not so harmful to us, unlike Brunka and Zimovit. Oil-based preparations, when we spray the trees, clog all the pores and also envelop the bud. And all the pests that live there, as well as the eggs of the pests, simply suffocate and die,” the gardener shared his experience.

How to prepare the solution

Dilute the preparations according to the instructions and spray the trees with the prepared mixture.

“But spray so that everything is wet on all sides and below, as well as the soil under the tree, because there are also a lot of pests there,” he advised.
