Employed in the summer of 2025 as sports director at Rapid, the Italian Mauro Pederzoli (64 years old) will not continue in Giulesti. Marius Bilașco (44) from CFR Cluj is wanted in his place.
Ahead of the 2025/2026 season, Mauro Pederzoli was appointed Sporting Director at Rapid. The majority shareholder of the club, Dan Șucu, explains the choice as follows:
“Mr. Pederzoli's experience and career speak for themselves. You can have several options for the idea of a sports director, but since you have an option like the one in front of us, things are no longer in question.”

9 months after the presentation of the Italian, the information from Giulesti is that Pederzoli will not continue at Rapid beyond the end of this season. Marius Bilașco, currently sports manager at CFR Cluj, is wanted in his place.
Authorized sources report that Bilașco will not continue in Gruia and that it is already understood with Rapidul. It only remains for the move to be formalized in the next period, most likely after the end of the season.

Bilașco was also active at Rapid as a player, spending the last six months of his career in Giulesti.
As a manager, he has been working at CFR Cluj for 8 years, since 2018, contributing to the 4 titles won by the Transylvanian team during this period.
