Americans attack the Strait of Hormuz. Bombs fell on the missile warehouse

“A few hours ago, American forces successfully used multiple 5,000-pound (approx. 2.3 ton) deep-penetrating bombs against fortified Iranian missile sites along the Iranian coast, near the Strait of Hormuz,” the command wrote on website X.
“Iranian anti-ship cruise missiles at these sites posed a threat to international shipping in the strait,” CENTCOM added.
On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump announced that navigation through Hormuz would soon resume, despite the lack of help from US allies in NATO and East Asia.

The Strait of Hormuz is a strategically important sea route for the transport of oil and gas, which has been blocked by Iran since the beginning of the war, on February 28. This led to a significant reduction in raw material supplies and, as a result, a sharp increase in fuel prices around the world.
As the White House announced on Tuesday, the US military has hit over 7,000 so far. Iranian targets and destroyed over 100 Iranian ships.
