Solving the subjects in Mathematics for the Simulation National Assessment 2026. A teacher explains the requirements of the exam – VIDEO

On Tuesday, March 17, the students of the 8th grade took the test in Mathematics for the National Evaluation 2026 simulation. The exam started at 9:00 am and lasted for two hours. Professor Cristian Demian from Unirea Educational Center solve the topics live on YouTube and explain each requirement.

“The subjects were, in general, normal, but the last problem, that of geometry in space, I think will be the “black swan” of this simulation. Normally, I expect that the subjects from the simulation will be more difficult than those from the summer exam”, Cristian Demian, professor of mathematics at the Unirea Educational Center, told HotNews.

He is now explaining, together with teacher Monica Chivu, live on YouTube, how to solve the mathematics subjects in the 2026 National Assessment:

What topics did the students have to solve in the 2026 National Assessment Simulation in Mathematics

According to the subjects published by Edupedu.ro, in the space geometry problem, the last item, the students had a regular tetrahedron.

See in the gallery below the mathematics subjects for the Simulation of the National Assessment for the 8th grade:

The subjects in Mathematics were structured in three parts, according to the model used in the National Assessment.

Topic I included basic exercises, which check concepts such as calculations with real numbers, fractions and percentages, as well as simple geometry problems.

The 2nd subject included exercises of an intermediate level, which involve the application of mathematical formulas and properties studied in secondary school.

Topic III included more complex algebra and geometry problems, where students had to present the complete solution and justify the calculation steps.

The maximum score is 100 points, of which 10 points are awarded ex officio.

The results are not displayed publicly, but are communicated to students through the schools. Grades can only be listed in the catalog if the student or parent requests it.
