A sedentary lifestyle leads to premature aging and heart problems – study
If you sit for 8.5 hours a day, you can age 5-10 years, and no amount of exercise will save you from this. This conclusion was reached by scientists from the University of Colorado who studied the lifestyle of more than a thousand young people aged 28 to 49 years.
The main subjects of the study were young men and women who spent about 8.5 hours a day at work, but performed the recommended level of exercise before and after work.
It turned out that such a lifestyle does not prevent you from being classified as “moderate or high risk” cardiovascular diseases and metabolic disorders.
