In a comment to the online publication GORDON, the singer told how exactly this duet was formed.
– “Zorepad” is a very “clingy” song. Then you go and eat it for several days. An incredible combination of voices. After a painful breakup with your former stage partner, Ukrainian artist Mikhail Gritskan, what was it like to work with Viktor Pavlik?
– We have known Victor for many years. It is easy to work with him because he is a true professional. We went into the studio, and literally 30 minutes later the song was already recorded.
– Will you have joint tours with him?
– We haven’t planned this yet. In fact, we prepared this duet back in the fall for Victor’s solo concert, which will take place on March 21.
– Are you planning further cooperation?
– So far, no new duets have been planned. Now I want to work solo. I have quite a repertoire, and I have always performed solo, so now I am preparing a solo program and many new songs.
– Despite your illness, you work at a frantic pace. Perhaps none of the Ukrainian artists premiere songs so often. What inspires you?
– This is true. I had a lot of premieres. Almost every month a new song was released. Perhaps this is because I was not touring, but was undergoing rehabilitation. But even then I continued to record songs and work. Creativity, music, singing – this is my life, and I cannot live without it.
