Last weekend, traffic police officers in Krasnoyarsk detained 25 drunk drivers. This was reported by the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.

Among those detained, 6 drivers got behind the wheel again while intoxicated and did not have the right to drive.

“In relation to each violator, traffic inspectors drew up administrative protocols. For “drunk” driving, a fine of 45 thousand rubles and deprivation of rights for up to two years are provided. Criminal prosecution awaits those who commit the offense repeatedly,” the traffic police explained.

Also over the weekend, 32 sober motorists who did not have a driver’s license and posed a threat to traffic safety were detained on the city’s roads. The cars of violators are placed in a special parking lot.
