Valverde continues his excellent form and scored again after his hat-trick against City. This time, the Uruguayan placed a right into the box, from 16 meters, in the central area. And Real Madrid entered with 2-0 at the cabins. Huijsen, also on the attack, made the score 3-0. The central defender scored with his head, after an ideal cross from Yanez, who was on his debut.

Manuel Angel Moran Ibanez, another Real Madrid youngster, scored late on before Guler's brace. The Turk put the icing on the cake in the 89th minute. Seeing that Dituro is far out of the gate, Guler tried his luck from 68 yards. The ball sent by the offensive midfielder of Madrid took an amazing turn and even went out of the TV cameras.
What records did Guler break:
- Arda Guler scored with a shot from 68 meters. It is the longest ever goal scored in La Liga, alongside Antonio José (for Numancia) against FC Sevilla in 2004
- A Real Madrid player had not scored in LaLiga from his own half since Lasa's goal against Sevilla in 1995 (from 58 metres)
- The last own-half goals in the Spanish league belonged to Inigo Martinez against Athletic and Sevilla in October and November 2011.
Real Madrid reached 66 points and is one point behind Barcelona, who have to play Sevilla this stage.
