The mobilization of law enforcement in Argeș County took place on Saturday, March 14, around 2:00 p.m., after several locals from Poiana Lacului commune alerted the authorities.
People complained that a 47-year-old man from the locality had become aggressive and was throwing stones in the direction of people on the street, but also at the vehicles driving in the area.
Police from the local station initially arrived at the scene, but the situation quickly got complicated. When he noticed the arrival of the crews, the man took refuge in a building under construction, from where he continued to throw objects at the police and then climbed onto the roof of the building.
Considering the increasingly violent behavior of the man and the risk to people in the area, the police requested the support of fighters from the Special Actions Service. A negotiator also participated in the intervention, who tried to convince the man to calm down and get down.
