Cooperation between Russia and Iran is part of a broader trend of strengthening relations between countries that are geopolitical opponents of the United States. After the international isolation that faced Moscow after the start of the war with Ukraine, Russia began to cooperate more intensively with countries such as Iran and North Korea.
