Northern Military District veterans from the Krasnoyarsk Territory received cars with manual controls (video)

13 March 18:20

Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov presented the keys to the adapted vehicles to two more participants in the special military operation. The cars were received by Evenkia resident Nikolai Kabarov and Krasnoyarsk resident Dmitry Devyatlovsky.

Both fighters were seriously injured during the fighting. Nikolai Kabarov, with the rank of guard sergeant, participated in the liberation of the DPR and LPR. Dmitry Devyatlovsky is a veteran of the Chechen campaign, and in 2023 he went to defend the country in the Northern Military District zone. Both received state awards.

Sedans are equipped with a manual control system. Before getting behind the wheel, veterans underwent a medical examination and special training.

“I plan to spend a lot of time driving – helping the children. Our family loves to travel around the region, we will explore new places. To everyone who is at the front today, and to everyone who is waiting, I would like to say that Victory will definitely be ours. We believe in ourselves, we know that the truth is on our side,” said Nikolai Kabarov.

Dmitry Devyatlovsky admitted that for him there was never a question of whether to go to defend Russia. I found out about receiving the car a week before delivery – it was a big event for the family.

After the ceremony, the governor inquired about the plans of veterans and how issues in social services were quickly resolved. Mikhail Kotyukov asked to keep in touch and let us know if support is needed. Special words were addressed to a resident of Evenkia, who faces a long journey home to Vanavara. The governor asked to call as soon as they get there.
