Bidding has started in Krasnoyarsk to find a contractor to develop a project for a children's film school. The customer of the work is MAU “Capital Construction Administration”.

It is planned that a film school will open in the children's cinema “Dream”. On the ground floor there will be a foyer, a presentation hall for 40 people for lectures, conferences and film screenings for students, and a classroom for 8 people for acting classes. On the second floor there will be four classrooms for training in cinematography, video editing, directing and screenwriting, a server room and a recording room.

The contractor will need to develop design documentation for the reconstruction of the unused part of the cinema, conduct engineering surveys, a detailed survey of the building, and also take into account the decisions made in the project for landscaping the cinema area, developed in 2019 by the A2 design workshop. The starting price is 17.3 million rubles. The results of the auction will be announced in early April.

“We hope that the contractor will approach the task responsibly. After all, this is a children’s cinema, and I wanted it to become a truly in-demand space in the future. To do this, we involve the Main Department of Culture and the House of Cinema, which will operate the building, in coordinating design solutions. We set the deadline for the contractor to complete the work – the end of the year. In total, he will have 8 months to develop the project,” said the acting director. Alexander Paramygin, head of the MAU Capital Construction Administration.

Let us remind you that this is not the first attempt to find a contractor to create a film school on the basis of the children’s cinema “Dream”; at the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025, the UIA “Capital Construction Administration” already announced tenders, but no one showed up. Afterwards the amount for the work was revised.
