In Krasnoyarsk, a contract was signed for the construction of a new building of the Solnechny boarding house for elderly citizens and people with disabilities. Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the region Ilya Zaitsev reported this on his Telegram channel.
A four-story building with 100 seats and a total area of almost 9 thousand square meters will appear in the Sovetsky district of the city – between Svetlova Street and Molodezhny Avenue. The project is being implemented within the framework of the national project “Family” with the support of the federal budget. In September 2025, the regional governor, Mikhail Kotyukov, managed to obtain support for the project from the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Labor. The contract value is almost 1 billion rubles.
The new building of the Solnechny boarding house will include living rooms, medical and household premises, a dining room, rooms for classes, rehabilitation and a winter garden. The area around the building will also be tidied up. Construction will be completed in May 2028. Preparatory work will last until March 31, 2026. These include clearing the area, removing waste, and removing the vegetation layer.
“The building will provide places and care for those who need inpatient care. The construction of such facilities is also enshrined in the People's Development Program of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. For us, these are not just words in a document, but obligations to residents. And each new social object is the practical implementation of these decisions,” noted Ilya Zaitsev.
Let us recall that at the beginning of March, a polyclinic of interdistrict hospital No. 3 opened in the Krasnoyarsk microdistrict Pashenny. The building, with an area of almost 17 thousand square meters, was equipped with modern equipment: a fluorograph, a mammograph, X-ray machines and a computed tomograph were installed there. The clinic housed a clinical diagnostic department, an infectious disease unit, an emergency unit, an outpatient surgery center and a day hospital.
