Frauds in the Catalog of the Ministry of Health – drug prices are artificially inflated in order to fix the maximum
According to expert Oleksiy Holobutskyi, some manufacturers have already declared inflated prices in the new Catalog of the Ministry of Health – up to the maximum allowed level. This is how they fix the “upper bar” before changing the methodology.
In addition, importers present drugs as “original” in order to fix higher prices and crowd out competitors, and Ukrainian manufacturers will be forced to lower prices by at least 25%, which may lead to their exit from the market.
