Changes in the subsidy system for farmers. Don't miss an important deadline

As in previous years, farmers can submit applications for subsidies from March 15 via the eWniosekPlus application. ARiMR information shows that the main principles for providing support have not changed compared to previous years, but individual standards have been modified as part of conditionality, selected payments or rules for completing the application.

One of the novelties is that this year it will be possible to apply for an agri-environment-climate payment for the protection of peat bogs and wetlands. A new definition of permanent grassland will also apply. The period after which arable land with grass or other fodder plants declared every year will become permanent grassland has been extended from five to seven years.
According to ARiMR's press release, under the eco-scheme “Conducting plant production in the Integrated Plant Production system”, payment will be available only to farmers who cultivate plants in accordance with integrated plant production methodologies developed by the State Plant Health and Seed Inspection. The agency also notes that farmers running organic farms will be exempt from the obligation to have an organic business plan.

Farmers should also remember that before submitting an application, it is worth, among others: obtain an entry in the producers' register, check whether the bank account number reported to ARiMR is correct and up-to-date, confirm legal titles to the plots to which the payment application will apply, familiarize yourself with the current rules for granting support and instructions for completing the application, and prepare the required documents – attachments, e.g. contracts or declarations.
