In Krasnoyarsk, police officers are looking for people who may have suffered from the actions of telephone scam couriers. According to law enforcement officials, a married couple worked for the scammers—a man and a woman have already been detained.
As the police established, the couple responded to an advertisement for part-time work in one of the instant messengers. After that, they became participants in a criminal scheme aimed at illegally enriching the organizers. The roles in the team were assigned in advance: the woman took cash from the victims, and the man watched what was happening and monitored the situation. The attackers kept 10% of the amount for themselves, and sent the rest to the employer.
In total, according to preliminary information, the couple managed to visit four addresses. For their work, the man and woman received about 200 thousand rubles; they spent part of the money on buying new smartphones, a TV, a sofa and groceries.

A criminal case was opened against the detainees under the article “Fraud.”
