Among the victims after the shooting near the WB office were mixed martial arts fighters Abubakar Mestoev and Umar Chichaev. They were in the company of Vladislav Bakalchuk.
Mestoev is the champion of Russia in all-style karate, vice-champion of Europe in karate, master of sports of Russia in pankration and all-style karate.
Chichaev is a European and world champion in taekwondo, master of sports in kickboxing.
