Amazon opens its 12th center in Poland. We know the location

Amazon plans to invest over PLN 23 billion in Poland in the years 2026–2028, the company said in a statement. Moreover, in 2026, Amazon will open a modern, robotic logistics center in Dobromierz (Lower Silesia), which will be the company's 12th distribution center in our country.

“From the perspective of Europe, Poland stands out significantly from other countries. It combines impressive economic growth, advanced technologies and entrepreneurs ready to compete on the global stage. That is why we are announcing our next investments here. Poland is already one of the 20 largest economies in the world, and Amazon intends to actively support strengthening this position,” said Mariangela Marseglia, vice president of the European Amazon store chain, quoted in the release.

Amazon opens its 12th center in Poland

The logistics center in Dobromierz is expected to provide: over a thousand full-time jobssignificantly strengthening local employment and opening new opportunities for the development of specialized technical and operational competences.

“Advanced systems automation will improve the order picking and shipping processes, and over 5,000 robots will support employees in the most demanding tasks, making work easier and improving everyday safety standards,” said Sławomir Płonka, Regional Director for Amazon Operations in Central and Eastern Europe.

The facility in Dobromierz will be Amazon's 12th logistics center in Poland. The company also has corporate offices in Poland, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and three Technology Development Centers (Amazon Development Center Poland) in Gdańsk, Warsaw and Kraków.

In the years 2012–2025, Amazon invested approximately PLN 45 billion in Poland, including: in infrastructure and technology development. (PAP Business)
