The plane from Moscow was unable to land in Krasnoyarsk due to bad weather

March 11 9:00

On the morning of March 11, the plane operating flight DP6547 on the route Moscow – Krasnoyarsk left for an alternate airfield in Abakan due to the weather conditions of Krasnoyarsk Airport.

The situation was quickly commented on by the press service of the air hub:

“Krasnoyarsk Airport is operating as normal to receive and dispatch aircraft. The decision to land is made by the crew. Check the airport’s official website for the latest schedule.”

Let us remind you that in Krasnoyarsk today the weather has deteriorated sharply – it has been snowing since the morning and a gusty south-west wind of 18-23 m/s is blowing. In addition to the snowstorm, on March 11 the air temperature is expected to drop by 10 °C and more.

During strong winds, specialists from the main department for civil defense, emergency situations and fire safety of the administration ask residents to follow safety measures: do not take shelter at bus stops, near billboards, unfinished buildings, under trees; do not approach the roofs of buildings from which snow may fall; avoid areas with ice and snow, move carefully; strictly follow fire safety rules when operating stoves and household electric heating devices.
