In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the prosecutor's office managed to clear the territory of a timber processing enterprise.
According to information from the regional supervisory agency, residents of the village of Izumrudny in the Irbeysko-Sayansky district were alarmed by the local timber processing enterprise. Since pMountains of sawdust, slabs and other sawmill waste grew poisonously with houses and forests. Waste was dumped directly on the ground, without any order or accounting; there was no specialized site for its safe accumulation.
“This situation has become the subject of a prosecutor’s investigation. The supervisory agency found that the individual entrepreneur who organized the processing and storage of wood ignored the requirements of the fire safety regime and waste management rules. The danger was not abstract – people lived literally next door to a potential source of a major fire,” explained in the supervisory department.
Hthrough court prosecutor's office demanded that the owner of the timber processing enterprise be obliged to clear the territory of flammable waste. The court supported the prosecutor's demands. As a result, the entrepreneur removed from the territory of the enterprise combustible sawmill waste, cleaning about 7.3 thousand square meters. m of land.
At the same time, according to the prosecutor's decisions, he was fined for violations in waste management (Part 1.10, Article 8.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) and failure to comply with fire safety requirements (Part 2, Article 20.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) for a total amount of 130 thousand rubleslei.
