The land of the former combine plant in Krasnoyarsk was again taken from Sibiryak

The court returned 57 plots on the territory of the former combine plant in Krasnoyarsk to state ownership. The prosecutor's office reports this.
Let us remember that in the early 2010s, a large-scale residential complex “Novoostrovsky” was supposed to grow on an industrial site in the city center. It was presented as a modern area with a full-fledged social infrastructure, however, as the project was implemented, the emphasis began to shift. Instead of kindergartens, schools and other important facilities, new high-rise buildings appeared in the plans.

The prosecutor's office admitted that in the area where tens of thousands of people will live, there will be no conditions for normal life, which will increase the load on the existing urban infrastructure. In addition, land plots were removed from the ownership of the Russian Federation without permission from the Federal Property Management Agency.
In November 2023, the court seized the land from the developer. The Sibiryak company had to pay 579 million rubles for the use of land on which houses had already been built. In 2025, the Supreme Court returned the land to the private firm.
After another lawsuit from the prosecutor's office, the case was reviewed again and it was decided to return 57 plots with a total area of more than 65 hectares to federal ownership.
The construction of houses was not stopped so as not to violate the rights of shareholders. Moreover, for additional safety of their funds, escrow accounts are used.
