According to Pekun, the composition has “something magical, there are folk motifs and at the same time the truth of life.”
“After all, such Koli really do happen. As soon as I heard it, I immediately fell in love. The track was created very simply – I walked up to the microphone, stood up and sang. Although the style of performance is different, more modern. This is not traditional pop music, but music that moves along with current life. I believe that more and more such songs should appear in my repertoire,” she added.
As stated in the press release that the singer’s team provided to the online publication “GORDON”, the release of the track “Kolya is Another Share” was a reflection of the artist’s internal and creative changes.
“The new song is accompanied by an updated image and the desire to be in the trend of modern Ukrainian music,” noted the singer’s team.
Pekun added that she really wanted to show a different side of herself.
“A new song is a new me. An artist cannot stop, because when you work in one image and one style for a long time, it becomes boring. The viewer and listener want development. Therefore, we are constantly looking for something new, writing and moving forward,” explained the artist.
