Breast augmentation will rise in price in Russia by 10–17% by the end of the year. The reason is the exchange rate between the dollar and the euro. Getting implants from any country is not a problem now, but they are bought for foreign currency.
As several large clinics told Mash, our market has overcome the shortage. Buying American, European, Brazilian and other implants is as easy as shelling pears. In addition, implants from China have also received a license in the Russian Federation.
But they buy everything abroad, in foreign currency. Therefore, in October, distributors will review their pricing policy. Clinics are not afraid, they assure: demand is only growing, Russian beauties perform about 30k operations a year.
Now in decent Moscow clinics the price tag is from 350 to 800k. The price includes everything from the surgeon’s work to the purchase of foreign compression underwear. Doctors add: it’s good that in pursuit of cheap prices, girls have stopped traveling abroad. Because they realized that all postoperative complications are on their shoulders, and it is almost impossible to achieve compensation in this case.
