Russia may support Iran. Trump: It's a simple problem

“It's a simple problem compared to what we're doing here. How stupid it is to ask such a question at this moment. We're talking about something different, Trump said during a White House meeting devoted to reforming the college sports system.
What support can Russia offer Iran?
What does Donald Trump say about the threat from Russia?
What is the importance of Russia's aid to Iran according to the White House spokeswoman?
What intelligence does Russia share with Iran?

Trump later admitted that compared to the war in Iran, the issue of college football – which is big business in the US, even though players are not formally rewarded by universities for playing – may seem insignificant, but “it is important to him.”
In a similar tone to media reports – they were first reported by the Washington Post, but later they were confirmed by, among others, by AP and CNN – White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt previously commented. During a conversation with journalists, she said that Russian aid for Iran does not matter because American forces are decimating the Iranian regime anyway.
According to the media, which cite officials associated with intelligence services, Russia provides Iran with intelligence data enabling it to carry out attacks on US forces in the Middle East.
