The building was designed by Gehry in cooperation with Czech architect Vlado Milunić. It owes its name to its shape, in which the silhouette of a dancing couple can be seen. It was built in 1996, on the right bank of the Vltava River in Prague, in the Nové Mĕsto district.

The Museum of Contemporary Art in Minneapolis, existing since 1934, moved to a new facility designed by Gehry in 1993. The facade of this impressive building is made of stainless steel. On the western side, Gehry used red brick, giving the building the appearance of rugged rocks rising over the banks of the Mississippi River. For the design itself, it won the prestigious Architecture Design Award in 1991

The opening of the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles took place in 2003, although the project began in 1987. Initially, it seemed unlikely that Gehry would be entrusted with designing the concert hall – Walt Disney's family had reservations about his reputation as an unconventional architect who used cheap materials in his works. And this was not in line with the seriousness of the project, which was to become a symbol of elegance. Ultimately, he managed to convince Disney's widow, Lilian, to his vision. The hall currently seats 2,293 and is home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Master Chorale.

The New World Center is a concert hall in Miami, home of the New World Symphony, with a capacity of 756 people. Such a small number of seats was intentional – it was to give the audience the opportunity to be close to the musicians. Unlike some of Gehry's most famous works, including Disney Hall, the building's exterior, made of glass and white plaster, has a rectangular, simple shape. The building was opened in 2011.
