On the day of departure, she and her children arrived at the Krasnoyarsk airport, but they refused to allow her to cross the state border, board the plane, and leave Russia. The reason was a violation committed by the internal affairs body in the formation of a machine-readable line in a foreign passport, in which the numbers in the top and bottom lines did not match. The woman's document was confiscated.

She's aboutfiled a civil claim for recovery of losses and compensation for moral damages against the Russian Federation represented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Migration Department of Police Department No. 3 of the Krasnoyarskoe Municipal Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the tour operator.

“During the consideration of the case, Biblio-Globus LLC reimbursed the plaintiff for part of the expenses incurred for the purchase of air tickets and accommodation in the amount of 73,396.36 rubles. Considering that the refusal to pass across the state border of the Russian Federation was caused by a technical error by the internal affairs bodies during the production of a foreign passport, the decision The Kirovsky District Court of Krasnoyarsk with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in favor of the woman recovered 81,525.64 rubles for damages and compensation for moral damage in the amount of 50,000 rubles,” the court said.
