A SMURD ambulance with six people overturned on a street in Sibiu after colliding with a car

A SMURD ambulance and a car were involved in an accident on Saturday, on a street in Sibiu, the Red Intervention Plan being activated. The SMURD ambulance overturned on the road.

ISU Sibiu urgently intervened on Saturday on Vasile Milea Boulevard in a road accident between a SMURD ambulance and a car, following which the Red Intervention Plan was activated.

According to ISU Sibiu, seven people were involved in the accident.

In the SMURD ambulance there was a patient, a minor with his mother and four crew members (three paramedic non-commissioned officers and a volunteer), writes Mediafax.

The child was not injured as a result of the accident, being picked up by another ambulance and transported to the hospital to treat pre-existing conditions.

The child's mother, a 26-year-old woman, complained of leg pain and was taken to UPU Sibiu.

As for the condition of the ISU Sibiu representatives, they have minor injuries and were transported to UPU Sibiu for further investigation.

The driver of the car, a man aged approximately 53 years, suffered multiple traumas and is transported to UPU Sibiu.

Subsequently, the Red Intervention Plan was deactivated.
