A delegation of the US Congress is to come to Bucharest at the beginning of the week, according to the announcement made by the head of the Presidential Chancellery, Cristian Diaconescu, and official sources told HotNews that it will be led by Republican Vernon Buhanan.

Vern Buhanan is part of the Bipartisan delegation of 30 members that Florida sent in the US Congress to the last elections and is vice-president of the Commission for Paths and Means in the Chamber of Representatives, who has competences in the area of ​​fiscal policy, international trade, medical assistance, social security and medicine, according to the official website.

Bachanan is the oldest Republican in the Commission, and currently holds the position of President of Subcommission for Health.
