A number of 14 cars were involved in a chain road accident that took place on Wednesday, on DN 3, between the municipality of Constanța and Valu lui Traian, near the access to the A4 highway, informed the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Dobrogea.
The accident occurred at the exit from Constanța PHOTO radioconstanta.ro
Several ambulances were called to the scene.
“Road accident on DN 3, near the exit on A4. The Palas Detachment intervenes with a firefighting vehicle, a SMURD B crew and four ambulances from the County Ambulance Service. At the scene of the intervention, nine cars involved in the road accident were found with 13 people involved”. sent ISU Dobrogea, according to Agerpres.
According to the quoted source, until the arrival of the intervention forces, five more cars were involved.
For its part, the INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police informed that on DN 3 Constanța – Murfatlar, at the exit from Constanța municipality to Valu lui Traian locality, Constanța county, there were 4 road accidents, of which 3 collisions (2 between 2 cars and 1 with 3 cars involved) and a collision between 2 cars, resulting in the injury of 2 people, undergoing medical evaluation.
Road traffic is difficult, due to the direction of the police and in foggy conditions, the traffic values being high in the area, both at the entrance and at the exit from the Constanța municipality.
