There is no article in Polish law to adapt to the regulation on compliance with national mourning. Therefore, citizens are not threatened with any penalties. In art. 49 parish 1 of the Code of Offenses, there is only one provision regarding demonstrative and disregarding behavior towards the Polish nation. There is a fine or arrest.
It should also be remembered that in the regulation issued by Donald Tusk after the decision of Andrzej Duda to establish national mourning, there is no provision on the ban on organizing mass events. Many events, e.g. football matches and concerts, take place as planned, but they will be preceded by a minute of silence.
