In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the ex-head of the village council fictitiously got her son a job and may receive time in a colony

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the ex-head of the village council may receive a prison term for fraud for fictitious employment of his son.

The prosecutor's office said that in the fall of 2024, the head of the Salbinsky village council of the Krasnoturansky district registered her son as a watchman. The man wrote a job application, worked for one day and left for another region, where he actually worked. His mother “replaced” the fictitious watchman — the woman fired the stove in the boiler room herself.

For six months, the man’s time sheet contained false information, which allowed his salary and bonuses to be transferred to his bank card. Then he transferred the money to his mother. Thus, more than 230 thousand rubles were stolen from the budget.

“During the interrogation, the accused said that she decided to “work for her son herself” in order to receive his salary and bonuses, since she could not accrue additional payments to herself, but she knew about the savings in the wage fund and hoped to cover her personal debts in this way. She has already fully compensated for the damage to the budget,” — told the prosecutor's office.

Based on the results of the investigation, the prosecutor charged the woman with fraud (Part 3 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and forgery of official duties (Part 2 of Article 292 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The Krasnoturansky District Court will consider the criminal case.
