Specialists of Krak and the Ministry of Emergencies jointly check the performance of fire hydrants and sufficient water pressure to combat fire.
To date, examinations have been completed in six out of seven districts of Krasnoyarsk. The latter in the check schedule – Oktyabrsky, where more than 800 sources of external external extinguishing of fires were installed on 265 kilometers of cold water supply networks. According to the results of the raids, an targeted overhaul of fire hydrants is adjusted.
“To increase the reliability of the city fire extinguishing system this year, we will update more than 180 hydrants,” says Oleg Goncherov, General Director of Krak. – Currently, the new settings for connecting fire hoses are mounted at 90 addresses. In addition to daily maintenance of hydrants, we also provide fire calculations with the necessary volume of water for extinguishing fires. Despite the potential risk of hydraulic boards due to excess pressure in pipelines, we first increased the pressure of water from water intakes at the request of the Ministry of Emergencies for the Ministry of Emergencies so that the fire fighters could protect the property of the Krasnoyarsk residents from the flame. ”
Recall that in March, “Krak” increased the volume of cold water from the water intake of the island of Nizhny Atamanovsky to extinguish an abandoned building in power engineers.
