What about oil supplies from the Middle East? Orlen responds

Orlen emphasized that it “continuously monitors the geopolitical situation in the Middle East and its potential consequences for global energy raw material markets.” “We currently do not identify any threats to the continuity of crude oil supplies to the Orlen Group” — the company reported to PAP.
The company did not mention LNG supplies from Qatar in its statement. In 2025, it was the second direction, after the USA, from which Orlen imported liquefied gas. “The largest number of LNG deliveries to Świnoujście were made from the United States – in 2025 there were 62 loads. Qatar was responsible for 17 transports,” the company reported at the beginning of February.
The company from Płock pointed out that it has a geographically diversified supply portfolio, and the crude oil that goes to production plants comes from many regions of the world.
On Saturday morning, the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran. Iran then carried out retaliatory attacks aimed at, among others, Rhinitis. In the evening, media reports appeared about the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
When the US attacked three Iranian uranium enrichment plants in June 2025, Orlen reported that it was obtaining crude oil from the Middle East under a contract with Saudi Aramco, as well as gas under a Qatari contract, with only LNG being transported through the Strait of Hormuz.
