US Army Central Command released the information on Sunday, declining to provide further details about the servicemen's deaths at this time.
Three US service members have been killed in combat as part of US operations against Iran, US Central Command said in a statement on Sunday.
Five others were seriously injured in Operation Epic Fury, the statement said.
Several others suffered minor shrapnel injuries and concussions, officials said.
The command did not provide details about the death of the three soldiers, nor where they were.
“The situation is fluid, so out of respect for the victims' families, we will withhold additional information, including the identity of the fallen soldiers, until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified,” the statement said.
