If you are tired of rubbing your plumbing fixtures until they shine, and after cleaning the glass still becomes cloudy or covered with a white coating, try changing tactics. The secret to a perfect surface is not the pressure, but the right combination of acids and soft fabric. You won't need harsh, harsh-smelling gels or endless scrubbing. Everything you need is already in the kitchen cabinet.
1. Vinegar against limescale
Mix table vinegar and water in a ratio of one to two. Spray onto glass and tiles and leave for three minutes. The acid gently dissolves mineral deposits. Wipe with dry microfiber and the surface will be transparent.
2. Soda paste for soap marks and seams
Dilute two tablespoons of baking soda with water to form a thick sour cream. Apply to problem areas with light circular movements. The abrasive works delicately, does not scratch the glaze and removes dark deposits in joints. Rinse off with warm water.
3. Alcohol for mirrors without haze
Mix rubbing alcohol and water one to one. Wipe the glass with a clean, lint-free cloth. The composition evaporates instantly, leaving no film or streaks. Ideal for daily care.
4. Citric acid against old stains
Dissolve one tablespoon of powder in a liter of warm water. Treat the taps, shower head and sink. Organic acid breaks down rust and hard water, leaving a light, fresh aroma without synthetics.
5. Olive oil for chrome parts
Place three drops of oil on a cotton pad and wipe the faucets after washing. A thin layer creates a water-repellent barrier from which water droplets roll off without leaving new marks.
Try these tricks and cleaning your bathroom will stop taking up your weekends. Surfaces will remain clean longer.
