Zelensky on nuclear weapons from Great Britain and France: I would accept with pleasure

The reporter asked for comment on the Kremlin's statement that Ukraine is trying to obtain nuclear weapons through these two countries.

Zelensky replied: “I have not received any such proposals. [Но принял бы] with pleasure!”

The reporter clarified: “So can we put an end to this issue, this is not happening?”

Zelensky replied: “No, this is not happening.” He added that the Kremlin is spreading many false statements.

Context

On February 24, the Foreign Intelligence Service of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation stated that the British and French allegedly want to supply Ukraine with nuclear weapons, and do this in such a way that the appearance of nuclear weapons in Kyiv looks like the result of the development of the Ukrainians themselves. Similar theses were repeated by the illegitimate President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Deputy Head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. This was denied in Kyiv, Paris, and London.
