The bureau of the regional committee of the CPSU, the executive committee of the regional Council of Workers' Deputies, the presidium of the regional trade union bureau of the regional committee of the Komsomol established a challenge prize “The winner of the regional socialist competition among collectives of livestock brigades and farms of state and collective farms for increasing the production and sale of meat to the state.”

The Bureau of the Regional Committee of the CPSU considered the issue of wintering livestock on farms in the Birobidzhan region. It was noted that during the four months of the current wintering, milk production in the region increased by 18% compared to the corresponding period in 1981-1982, its procurement increased by 22%, and the productivity of cows increased by 80 kg.
The Bureau drew the attention of the Birobidzhan district party committee and the executive committee of the district Council of People's Deputies to shortcomings in the organization of wintering livestock, and obliged them to take measures to further increase livestock productivity, production and procurement of livestock products.
“The district party committee, the district executive committee, the district agro-industrial association, party committees, party bureaus, managers and specialists of farms were asked to improve the use of feed on farms, ensure their proper preparation for feeding, and prevent cases of spoilage and theft of forage. For each farm, develop and implement measures to ensure improvement of herd reproduction and breeding work.
It is necessary to establish proper sanitary order on farms, establish strict control over the quality of milk produced, and over the use of livestock products for on-farm needs.
Having staffed the farms, we should pay more attention to their retention.”
“The regional agro-industrial association is obliged to increase demands on agricultural managers and specialists for organizing winter housing, livestock, finding and using reserves for increasing production and procurement of livestock products.”
The Bureau of the Regional Committee of the CPSU also adopted a resolution “On the work of the administration and party organization of the Amurzet secondary school to implement the decisions of the 26th Congress of the CPSU,” which defines measures to further improve universal compulsory secondary education and communist education of schoolchildren.

Bishop Joseph of Birobidzhan and Kuldur, at the site of construction of the temple in honor of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Smidovich, performed the “rite that takes place at the foundation of the temple and the erection of the cross” and consecrated the cross on the site of the future Throne of the temple.
In 2011, work on the foundation was completed and the laying of walls began.
On December 21, 2012, domes and crosses were installed on the temple under construction. The central large and two small domes, the roof and crosses for the temple are made of nitrotitanium in the city of Trekhgorny, Chelyabinsk region. The rite of consecration and placing of crosses “on top of the roof of the newly created church” was performed by Bishop Joseph of Birobidzhan and Kuldur.
The main work on the construction of the temple was completed, only its finishing remained. But in 2013, the decoration of the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary was suspended due to lack of funding.

In 2014, donations were received for the construction of the temple from the government of Heilongjiang Province and a private entrepreneur from China. The amount of donations amounted to 400 thousand rubles, the gift from the citizens of the Middle Kingdom was timed to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Smidovichi district.
These funds were used for finishing work, landscaping of the surrounding area, and installation of a fence.
