FCSB could perform for the first time in history in the Superliga play-out. The Romanian champion needs six points in the last two matches of the regular season, with UTA Arad (away) and U Cluj (home), but even then she is not sure of the place in the Top 6, not being in her hands.
The first step takes place on Sunday, March 1, on the field of UTA. The people of Arad, also involved in the fight for the play-off, mobilized for this game and sold out all the tickets in less than three hours.
Sold-out at UTA – FCSB
The game will take place at the “Francisc Neuman” stadium and it will be full. Approximately 10,000 people from Arada bought tickets for this game, according to sportarad.ro.
The team coached by Adrian Mihalcea put the tickets on sale today, from 3 p.m., and around 6 p.m. there were no more tickets available. It will be the first time this season that UTA will have a packed stadium at a Superliga match.
If FCSB does not win in Arad, it could evolve in the play-out and depending on the results of the opponents for the first time in history.
In the last stage of the championship, UTA drew 2-2 on the field of Oțelul Galați. On the other hand, FCSB easily defeated Metaloglobus, score 4-1.
Before the stage, UTA is in 9th place, with 42 points after 28 stages, FCSB is in 7th place, with 43.
From my position as a dynamist, there would be extra joy for this (no – to take FCSB out of the play-offs)but I don't think about it. I don't have any kind of bet or hidden, reckless desire to beat FCSB.
It's just the desire to have new real chances after the next stage, to qualify for the play-offs. So I'm interested in us trying to get into the play-offs, not leaving anyone out.
