Right back in one of the most beautiful teams in the history of Farul, ranked 4th in the 1973/1974 edition, Ilhan Mustafa made his debut in the blue-white shirt in 1970, and then played again for Farul between 1974-1981.

Born in Mangalia, on August 12, 1952, Ilhan Mustafa started football at AS Armata Marina Mangalia, when he was 15 years old.

Only one year later he was already playing for the club's senior team, in Division C, so that in January 1970, aged 17 years and 5 months, he was transferred to Farul.

Until 1974, however, he performed at Portul Constanța and Victoria Roman (military internship), but then the right defender became an indispensable player in the blue-white first team until 1981.

He retired in 1983, at only 31 years old. Since 2005, he has been director of the Children's Palace in Constanța.
