The Frenchman brought 83 kg of cocaine to Germany directly in his suitcases – media


The illegal cargo was discovered by a sniffer dog – it was in the luggage of a French citizen who had flown in from the Dominican Republic, the publication writes.

Customs officers note that the drug shipment was not hidden under a double bottom or in any other way. More than 80 kg of cocaine were divided into 76 blocks, wrapped in duct tape and placed in three suitcases. This is an “unusual, very significant amount of cocaine” for a local airport, a customs official said.

The alleged drug courier, a 61-year-old Frenchman, was arrested right at the airport.
