Pavilions on Bridge Square are disconnected from utility networks

In Krasnoyarsk, shopping pavilions on Predmostnaya Square are disconnected from utility networks, the city department of urban planning reported.

By the end of the week, 6 facilities will be completely disconnected from water supply, sewerage and electricity systems. Tenants and owners have already vacated them. Only one is working so far – the dispatch center for intercity buses. They are still looking for a new place to house it.

The pavilions are planned to be demolished in the spring. While preparations are underway to find a contractor for the reconstruction of the avenue named after the newspaper “Krasnoyarsky Rabochiy” in the area from Predmostnaya Square to Kapitanskaya Street. It is planned to expand the roadway to three lanes and improve the pedestrian area. Because of this, retail outlets were demolished.

“We signed a seizure agreement with the owners last year, and in January they were transferred a total of 125.5 million rubles,” the department said.

Work on the reconstruction of the avenue is planned as part of the transformation of Krasnoyarsk for the 400th anniversary.
